Harry isn't actually in love with Ginny?
Harry and Ginny are the most loved couple in the Harry Potter series. They have a complicated romance, since Ginny is Ron's little sister, and Ron is Harry' s best friend. Although, some suspect that their romance isn't so black and white after all.
In the Chamber of secrets, we meet Ginny, Ron' s little sister, who gets all tongue-tied when she sees Harry. The reason is, of course, that she has a crush on him. She was so shy, and could barely speak to him. Although it wasn't in the movies, she even wrote him a Valentine's day poem, but it was all for nothing because Harry fell in love with a different girl. Since then, Ginny is no longer in love with Harry. But, is that true?
In The Half-Blood Prince, while visiting the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes store, something catches Ginny's and Hermione's attention. We are, of course talking about love potions. Latter on in the book, while in the Potions class they learn that the love potion- Amortentia, the most powerful love potion in existence. It creates a powerful infatuation or obsession from the drinker, as long as they keep drinking it.
Surprisingly, it's in the Half-Blood Prince that Harry starts developing feeling for Ginny. It's surprising how he starts developing feelings for Ginny all of a sudden. The theory is, that Ginny gave Harry a dose of Amortentia, since her crush never went away.
So this would be the scenario: Ginny gave Harry a small dose of Amortentia, which would explain why in the start he fought against it. She eventually started giving him more and more, causing the obsession to grow. Nineteen years latter, she is still giving him the love potion, because she is scared that if she stops, Harry will stop having feelings for her. Or, she either stops, and Harry has no memory of the last 19 years of his life. Ginny tells him that someone erased his memory by using the ''Obliviate'' spell. He believes when everyone tells him that he is in love with Ginny, and continues his life with her.
Even tough this theory wasn't approved by J.K. Rowling, we must admit that it is likely possible. But still, Ginny and Harry are still one of our favourite couples. See you in the next post!

It would explain how his feeling for Cho suddenly stoped, and Ginny became a love interest. In this part of the series, we also found out that Voldemort's mother gave his father a love potion, since their romance was not possible. She stopped eventually, thinking that his feelings became real, but they haven't. In case Ginny was eavesdropping on this conversation, she would know about this.
